ISO 14001 Foundation- level course is the ideal starting point in learning and understanding the basics of Environmental Management System (EMS), EMS standards and the attendant business benefits of an effective EMS management system.

This course will help participants get familiarized with the High Level structure and the requirements of ISO 14001:2015 standard and its relationship with ISO 14000 as well as gaining the understanding of the key concepts of an Environmental Management System (EMS), like environmental aspects and impacts, interested parties, management commitment, internal audit, continual improvement, etc.

This course is certified by the Quality and Management system Auditors Institute (QMSAI) and meets the training requirements for Environmental Management System Foundation Course certification. Examination and Evaluation Criteria

Participants shall be evaluated through:

• Continuous Assessments – Participants will be evaluated every day of the training, via group discussion, Recap quizzes, workshops, punctuality, class room participation, attendance, etc. The qualifying mark is 60%
• Examination – Participants will write a-30 minute final examination on the last day of training. The qualifying marks is 70%
