Pre-course Requirements

You are expected to have the following prior knowledge before starting this course:

• Knowledge of the plan, do, check, act cycle (PDCA)
• Understand the structure and content of ISO 9001
• Fully grasp the ISO 9001 standard. (Note that students without prior knowledge of the standard may not be successful in this course.)
• Have insights into the core elements of a management system, and the interrelationship between top management responsibility, policy, objectives, planning, implementation, measurement, management review and continual improvement
• Possess knowledge of the requirements of ISO 9001, and the commonly used QMS terms and definitions, as given in ISO 9001
• Knowledge of QMS legislations and legal requirements (both local and international)
• Understand Management System risk-based process approach.

Course Duration

This course takes five days to complete, plus exams.

Course Time

08:30am to 4:30pm daily (tea break starts at 11:00am and runs till 11:30am, while lunch starts at 1:00pm).

Course Fee

₦150,000.00 (one hundred and fifty thousand naira). You can pay in 2 installments.

Examination and Evaluation Criteria

Participants shall be evaluated through:

• Continuous Assessments – Participants will be evaluated every day of the training, via group discussion, workshops, role play, punctuality, take-home exercise, class room participation, attendance, contribution in class, etc. The qualifying mark is 60%
• Examination – Participants will write a 2-hour final examination on the last day of training. The qualifying marks is 70%
