QMSAI ISO 14001 internal Auditor course will afford you both technical knowledge and practical skills essential to assess and report on the conformance and effective implementation of an environmental management system geared towards continual improvement.

What is QMSAI Internal Auditor Course?

QMSAI EMS Internal Auditor certification is a globally-recognized ISO 14001:2015 Internal auditor certification. It is certified by the Quality and Management system Auditors Institute (QMSAI) and meets the training requirements for QMSAI Environmental Management System Auditor certification.

A “QMSAI ISO 14001 internal Auditor” certificate gives credence to your professional capabilities, and demonstrates that you have the knowledge and skills to perform the internal audit of your organization’s EMS based on ISO 14001 standard.

Pre-course Requirements

You are expected to have the following prior knowledge before starting this course:

  • Knowledge of the plan, do, check, act cycle (PDCA)
  • Understand the structure and content of ISO 14001
  • Fully grasp the ISO 14001 standard. (Note that students without prior knowledge of the standard may not be successful in this course.)
  • Have insights into the core elements of a management system, and the interrelationship between top management responsibility, policy, objectives, planning, implementation, measurement, management review and continual improvement
  • Understand the concepts of managing environmental aspects in relation to their associated impacts and compliance obligations, etc.
  • Possess knowledge of the requirements of ISO 14001, and the commonly used EMS terms and definitions, as given in ISO 14000
  • Knowledge of EMS legislations and legal requirements (both local and international)
  • Understand Management Systems risk-based process approach.

 

Course Duration

This course takes three (3) days to complete, plus exams.

 

Course Time

08:30am to 4:30pm daily (tea break starts at 11:00am and runs till 11:30am, while lunch starts at 1:00pm).

 

Course Fee

₦100,000.00 (one hundred thousand naira). You can pay in 2 installments.

 

Examination and Evaluation Criteria

Participants shall be evaluated through:

  • Continuous Assessments – Participants will be evaluated every day of the training, via group discussion, workshops, role play, punctuality, take-home exercise, class room participation, attendance, contribution in class, etc. The qualifying mark is 60%
  • Examination – Participants will write a 2-hour final examination on the last day of training. The qualifying marks is 70%
